We have all heard the same things a hundred times. There are not enough of X type of people in this job/company/ position. We are not getting enough women, black women, blacks/ Hispanics in this place or that college. But, have we ever stopped to think that there is possibly another reason besides that classification or discrimination?
Most do not think through what is be told them; they only jump to the worst conclusion. This person or leader must not like these people because he/she has not chosen to pick them. We never think that there might not be a more qualified person for the position than the one that has filled that position.
