The liberal outrage over Uber’s continuous service has inadvertently helped one of Trump’s biggest donors.
Such is the case with their latest crusade-tirade against ride-sharing giant Uber. In the wake of Uber’s decision to continue serving men and women of America in the face of a taxi-driver strike against President Trump’s immigration reform orders, liberal “activists” demanded that the smartphone application be boycotted. Ride-share rival Lyft saw an opportunity and donated $1 million to the ACLU to pick up those liberal dollars.
Well, with Lyft surging ahead of Uber in downloads and usage, one man, a billionaire Trump supporter and donor, is getting richer.
“But the #DeleteUber crew seems to have missed Lyft’s own ties to the Trump administration.
“In 2015, financier Carl Icahn made a $100 million investment into Lyft. His interests are represented on its board of directors through John Christodoro of Icahn Capital.
