One of Donald Trump’s campaign promises was that he would declare all out war against the politically correct war on Christmas and Christianity and he is making good on that promise!
This week, he affirmed that promise at the Values Voter Summit, an annual socially conservative conference.
“We are stopping cold the attacks on Judeo-Christian values,” Trump said to applause, before slamming people who don’t say “Merry Christmas.”
“They don’t use the word Christmas because it is not politically correct,” Trump said, complaining that department stores will use red and Christmas decorations but say “Happy New Year.” “We’re saying Merry Christmas again.”
The comment drew thunderous applause.
During the campaign, Trump declared war on the assault on Christianity and Christmas in an interview by Cliff Sims on Yellowhammer Radio.
“There is an assault on Christianity and we’re going to reverse that trend, BIGGLY!”
