Trump Chooses Jerome Powell as Replacement for Obama’s Federal Reserve Chair

Well the Democrats have been dragging their feet on Trump’s agenda, policies and nominations thus far, so this one should be no different. On Thursday, President Trump announced Jerome Powell as the replacement for the Federal Reserve Chair. Trump is doing everything he can to ‘Make America Great Again’. Now, the question is: Will the Democrats stall on this nomination or will Powell be confirmed by February?

Jerome Powell, a member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, has been notified by the White House that President Donald Trump intends to nominate him to replace Janet Yellen as the next chairman of the central bank.
