On a quiet street in far-west Chelsea dotted with industrial businesses and art galleries, passersby might miss the glass garage door and demure sign that leads to one of the most dynamic lifestyle spaces in New York: The Lamborghini Lounge.
The ground-floor gallery is both a Lamborghini design center and a hub of chic Italian hospitality, a foundational location for the Lamborghini life. It’s where clients can both design their dream cars and reveal them to friends and family; where new models roll out to fans and potential buyers; where the food, wine and culture of Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy, charm guests.
When Lamborghini rolls out a new model, select clients are invited for a first look and the opportunity to purchase one of the first models to be built. This is a meeting that often takes place at the Lamborghini Lounge. There, clients meet with Lamborghini executives and designers, sign a non-disclosure agreement and in partnership with the company, make the newest dream car become a reality.
From there, clients can stage the delivery of their newest supercar in a personal reveal, replete with champagne toasts, a chef-crafted menu and DJ’d party. They may also return to attend the global launch of the new model or a posh party hosted by one of Lamborghini’s brand partners.
That’s what the space is designed to be: a versatile venue that showcases the Lamborghini brand.
Housed in a former art gallery, the Lamborghini Lounge New York is notable for its open, airy feel marked by double height ceilings, skylights and wooden floors. Inspired by the brand’s headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese, the Lounge’s spaces are distinctly Lamborghini, marked by modern lines, brand memorabilia, and hexagon-inflected designs.
