Fast-food giant Burger King had an interesting year in 2019 — leadership changed as Daniel Schwartz became chairman at the end of February and longtime executive Jose Cil became CEO. From a massively successful Super Bowl advertisement to the largest plant-based burger launch, the company celebrated highs. Heading into 2020 they face a lawsuit, but the company’s sales remain high, gaining 10% over the past year.
