Devin Patrick Kelley, 26, who murdered 26 in a Texas Baptist Church, had been denied a Texas gun permit through gun control according to Governor Abbott.
The Texas Governor also stated that there was a connection between the “very deranged individual” and the church where the slayings took place, telling “FOX & Friends” that people will learn about a link.
“I don’t think the church was just randomly attacked,” he said. “I think there was a reason why the shooter chose this church.”
Kelley had been dishonorably discharged from the military and had a criminal record. Gun control kept him from the ability to buy a gun.
Yet, the Texas citizen who stopped Kelley, was armed with an ‘assault rifle’, and legal. Things that make you go: HMMMMM?
It really is simple. Two buildings and two signs. One says, “No Guns Allowed” and the other says, “We’re packin’”.
