Sparklers in champagne bottles that were “close to the ceiling” may have started the deadly New Year’s Day fire at a Swiss resort bar that killed at least 40 people and injured 119 others, officials said.
The Swiss president said the fire is “one of the worst tragedies our country has experienced.”
