There has been much talk about the possible secession of California in a hissy fit over Trump’s presidency, but another state is now pushing to legalize the motion.
North Carolina, who has suffered the brunt of both private boycotts and the Obama administration after they worked to enact religious freedom legislation, is eyeing a bill that would once again allow the state to secede from the United States.
“A bill filed Tuesday by a trio of N.C. House Republicans seeks to drop a provision in the state constitution that prohibits secession.
