Secession Could Be Back on The Table For THIS State

 

There has been much talk about the possible secession of California in a hissy fit over Trump’s presidency, but another state is now pushing to legalize the motion.

While most eyes were trained on California’s possible secession, North Carolina has thrown the idea back into the ring as well.

North Carolina, who has suffered the brunt of both private boycotts and the Obama administration after they worked to enact religious freedom legislation, is eyeing a bill that would once again allow the state to secede from the United States.

“A bill filed Tuesday by a trio of N.C. House Republicans seeks to drop a provision in the state constitution that prohibits secession.

“Reps. Michael Speciale of New Bern, George Cleveland of Jacksonville and Larry Pittman of Concord are proposing a constitutional amendment that would give voters a chance to repeal Article I, Section 4 of the North Carolina constitution.
