In a joint statement Vladimir Putin of Russia and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani released a joint statement condemning the US attack on the Syrian air base that launched the sarin gas attack on the Syrian people and warn the United States that they will strike back should the US make any new attacks against Syria. They say that the United States have crossed the “red line.”
“What America waged in an aggression on Syria is a crossing of red lines. From now on we will respond with force to any aggressor or any breach of red lines from whoever it is and America knows our ability to respond well.”
