Emma Raducanu has told Sky News that ‘fame won’t distract her from achieving her potential’, as she reflected on life after returning back home to Bromley in Kent.
The star told Sky’s Jacquie Beltrao that her main goal is to improve her tennis and she joked that despite her phenomenal win some things hadn’t changed : ‘I can’t even get a court at my local club!’ she said.
On Saturday Raducanu became the first British woman to win a major title in 44 years and the first qualifier ever to lift a grand slam.
