In this day in age, you can barely walk a full block without hearing or seeing something about gun control. The leaders of our country are forcing it down our throats. The “idols” or “celebrities” of our country are likewise propagating the importance of restricting gun ownership.
They get all righteous and say, “People don’t kill people, guns kill people.” A part of me actually wishes that statement was true. If the statement were true maybe they wouldn’t feel the need to say it during every inappropriate instance.
A Congressional Research Service study proved that wasn’t true. The report explained how gun ownership skyrocketed in 1994 to 2009, going from 192 million privately owned guns to 309 million in nine years.
