President Obama’s decision to send $400 million in U.S. cash to Iran in exchange for the release of U.S. hostage has been exposed as even dirtier, and more corrupt, than anyone knew.
We have known since August that Obama turned over pallets of cash to Tehran on the same day that Iran released five American hostages.

The payment itself was troubling enough, since it obviously violated the U.S.’s longstanding policy against negotiating with hostage-takers.
In fact, the White House had misled the American public into believing that Obama would abide by this policy. According to a June 2015 “Fact Sheet” published by the White House, Obama “ordered a comprehensive review of U.S. policy toward overseas hostage-takings” in December 2014.
