Luis Saez, who rode Maximum Security in the 2019 Kentucky Derby, is appealing his 15 race suspension, citing that stewards didn’t determine “intent, carelessness or incompetence” on his part which is required by law. The owner of the horse is also suing in federal court to restore the horse’s win and $1.86 million purse. They said the process that disqualified him was “unconstitutional”. In the MLS, Atlanta United made history notching their fifth straight shutout. The 1-0 victory came over the Vancouver Whitecaps in British Columbia with Josef Martinez scoring the lone goal on a penalty. RT America’s Steve Christakos joins Scottie Nell Hughes to discuss.
