Welcome back, Richest fans! India is set to undergo one of their biggest train system updates. They are in the midst of creating multiple projects to improve their system and cut the travelling time down significantly. One way is by creating high-speed tracks with bullet trains from Japan. The other is by creating underwater tunnels across a raving river. And today, we’re going to explore both of these in detail. On top of that, we’ll see the concept for a floating sea tunnel stretching from India to the UAE. We’ll explore how each of the projects are coming along, and the facts behind them. Fun fact, all of these projects are even worth billions of dollars!
Now for the spoiler paragraph. If you like surprises, we suggest you stop reading and watch the video multiple times. We kick off by examining the bullet trains. We’ll see the locations that require this fast transport and the cost behind it. We’ll also see the proposed underwater tunnel for them. Next, we have the East West Metro tunnel that’ll be underneath the Hooghly River. After a massive accident, the tunnel is set to open by 2022. Then we have the tunnel between the two countries. It’ll also have water and oil pipelines attached for easy trading. But can be used by tourists and workers as well. In order to figure out the price, we’ll explore a similar idea that Norway has. Finally, we’ll briefly look at one of the most expensive train ticket tours in the world that covers Russia.
