House Speaker Mike Johnson defended Pres. Trump’s sweeping pardons of people convicted in connection with the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, saying, “We believe in redemption. We believe in second chances.”
Johnson later slammed former Pres. Biden’s pardons for members of his family, calling the move “disgusting.”
