Hillary Clinton acknowledged in an interview that she “missed a few chances” during last year’s presidential campaign.
“In this time we’re in, particularly in this campaign, maybe I missed a few chances,” the 2016 Democratic candidate told Jane Pauley in an interview to be broadcast Sunday on CBS News.
An excerpt of the interview was released Friday.
Clinton retold her story about feeling “discombobulated” when Republican Donald Trump stood too close behind her during the second debate in St. Louis.
“I think my composure, which I have developed over years being in the public eye, has well-equipped me for being a leader, because you should keep your cool and you should be steady and predictable,” she told Pauley.
Clinton is promoting her new memoir on the campaign, “What Happened.”
