The federal government is certainly bloated, that is no surprise to anyone, but their latest theft from the American people is abhorrent.
The federal government has collected a record amount of taxes from the American people in 2016, even though its approval ratings were near rock bottom for a majority of the year.
With President Trump charging into office, carrying with him the mantra “Drain The Swamp”, one can only hope that We The People will be able to take back from the ruling class that which is ours. And a huge part of “what is ours” includes our hard-earned money…something that the government has just set a new record of taking.
“Despite collecting a record $1,084,840,000,000 in tax revenues in the first four months of this fiscal year, the federal government turned around and spent $1,241,780,000,000 in those same four months—and ended up running a deficit of $156,939,000,000.
