Donald Trump has announced the formation of an executive board to provide advice and support to him on all Evangelical issues. Trump named Michele Bachmann and Jerry Falwell, Jr. as two of the members of te Evangelical board. Trump’s campaign said that the board will create a “much larger Faith and Cultural Advisory Committee.” The creation of the board has drawn criticism from some in the Evangelical community who don’t agree with the appointments.
Donald Trump announced the formation of an executive board on Tuesday to provide advice and support to the presumptive GOP nominee on issues affecting Evangelicals.
Among the executive board’s members is former Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minnesota, who ran for president in 2012 and retired from Congress in 2015. Jerry Falwell, Jr., the president of Liberty University, is also on the board.
