Dubai’s new floating villas are the most luxurious homes in the water you’ve probably ever seen. These partially submerged mansions are a part of the Heart of Europe, a $5 billion construction project that’s turning man-made islands into the hottest new tourist destination. The Floating Seahorse Villas feature above water decks, state-of-the-art technology and glass bottom hot tubs as well as underwater bedrooms and bathrooms. They can even be converted into warmer homes when the weather gets cool. How they managed to build these innovative vacation homes might surprise you– they aren’t technically “houses” at all.
These villas aren’t the only underwater accommodations that are now a part of the World’s Islands.
