It is five o’clock in the morning and I am suffering from jet lag. Instead of getting the sleep I sorely need, my mind keeps replaying a recent interview that I watched on Fox News.
Judge Jeanine Pirro was being accosted by a cantankerous, middle-aged black man who described himself as a communist. He was expressing his utter disdain for the election of Donald Trump. This man did not vote for the president-elect because Trump, he says, is a fascist. Since he didn’t vote for Trump, this man doesn’t feel he is required to accept the results of the election…and he doesn’t want you to accept it either. In fact, he wants you to act out your disapproval by doing everything you can to protest Trump and the fascism he represents.
