There is a consensus among corporate media on both the right and the left that Donald Trump made a huge mistake in the third Presidential Debate by not agreeing to accept the results of the election.
Chris Wallace:
“Do you make the same commitment that you will absolutely — sir, that you will absolutely accept the result of this election?”
Donald Trump:
“I will look at it at the time. I’m not looking at anything now. I’ll look at it at the time… What I’m saying is that I will tell you at the time. I’ll keep you in suspense. OK?”
For the next several days (perhaps weeks), the country will be inundated with OP-eds, blogs, posts, and talking heads primarily saying two things.
1: that Trump threatens our Republic’s integrity by challenging our history of a peaceful transition of power after elections.
