The Tragedy in Orlando
There should be no question in the mind of any rational person that the massacre at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando was an abomination. It was an example of humankind at its worst, a spectacle of the most cowardly, craven, hate-filled violence. Whether you are gay or straight; black, white, yellow or brown; liberal or conservative—at moments like these I can only hope we remember that, first and foremost, we are Americans.
It does not matter whether ISIS was actually behind this crime or whether they are simply claiming involvement after this bastard slaughtered and maimed so many innocent people—no, I will not repeat his name, and I cannot fathom why the mainstream media insists on showing photos of these lunatics, repeating their names, and turning them into celebrities that only encourage more of the same.
