The Brazilian government is considering the legalization of several dogs to combat gang-related violence.
The South American nation has been under siege by gang violence in recent years, culminating in a massive police strike that is ongoing at the time of this writing. Now, Brazil’s supreme court is considering drastic measures to combat the violence.
“A Brazilian Supreme Court justice called on Friday for the legalization of marijuana and even cocaine to undo the growing power of drug gangs behind a wave of violence that has shaken Latin America’s largest country.
