Bill Seeks Insider Trading Crackdown After Polymarket Bettor Made $400,000 On Maduro Capture


Rep. Ritchie Torres, D-N.Y., introduced a bill Monday that proposes to ban government employees from using prediction markets while having access to nonpublic information, doing so days after users on Polymarket placed highly profitable bets on the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro—not long before it was carried out by U.S. forces.
