Anti-Semitic vandals hit U.S. synagogue on Sabbath

(SACRAMENTO BEE) — Members of an Orangevale synagogue discovered Saturday morning that someone had pasted anti-Semitic posters on the building sometime overnight, and have reported the vandalism to the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department and the FBI.

Rabbi Alan Rabishaw of Temple Or Rishon said about 10 to 15 hate posters were found at the temple about 8 a.m. Saturday and that he believes they were left overnight.

“We walked into the temple and they were found around our campus, on the outside window, the doorways, spread around our campus,” he said. “They were filled with anti-Semitic hate.”
