Two students were robbed at gunpoint on a “gun-free” campus. A man exited an SUV with a gun and demanded they give him their belongings. Two years ago a man with a gun opened fire outside the Florida State University, a man with a conceal carry permit was able to take out the shooter.
Florida State University is a gun free school, that however didn’t stop two students from being robbed at gunpoint.
A few months ago, Miguel Diaz de la Portilla, the chairman of the Florida Senate Judiciary Committee eliminated campus carry. However, gun use on the campus still remains a problem.
