Bryant Park honors World Trade Center 9/11 attack victims with empty-chair tribute


To mark the 25th anniversary, a total of 2,753 empty chairs were set out in New York’s Bryant Park on Sept. 11, representing those killed at the World Trade Center during the terrorist attack.

People were invited to stop by the park to place a carnation or leave a note of remembrance on the chairs.
