A stunning aerial artwork commemorated the individual lives lost on September 11, 2001, with 2,977 drones flying to recreate the outline of the twin towers of the World Trade Center on Wednesday.
Each drone represented a life lost on 9/11, according to the project sponsored by the New York Foundation of the Arts.
