RFK Jr. takes them. One neuroscientist says they could “eradicate obesity” and boost energy and libido. But the FDA banned most of them.

Dr. Anita Gupta sat on the advisory committee that recommended the ban. I ask her why doctors get to be the gatekeepers.

“We can’t undo an injection,” she said. “There could be an immune response.”

“Could” be.

But the ban doesn’t stop people from using peptides. It just pushes them into a gray market.

Now people buy peptides from China. How is that safer?
