Why Peloton’s Head Instructor Says Resilience Is A Muscle We Can All Build

Robin Arzón joins the 2025 Forbes Power Women’s Summit and details how women entrepreneurs can fuel their finish line for success.

Robin Arzón is a force redefining the boundaries of what’s possible. As Vice President of Fitness Programming and Head Instructor at Peloton, Robin pivoted from a successful career in law to pursue her passion for health and wellness, transforming herself into a global fitness leader, 27x marathon and ultra-marathon runner, 2x New York Times bestselling author, and founder of the Swagger Society media company.

For Robin, movement is medicine. She discovered her passion for running after a traumatic experience in a New York City bar. Finding strength through putting on a pair of running shoes led to her penning her New York Times bestselling book, Shut Up and Run. Now, as the VP of Fitness Programming and Head Instructor at Peloton, Robin leads the future of fitness and technology, inspiring millions to embrace movement as a source of power.

Robin aims to live an uncommon life, and mental strength is her foundation. She reaches audiences worldwide through her MasterClass, which teaches members to transform their inner critic into an inner advocate. Her keynote speeches, contributions to Good Morning America, and Swagger Society media company reinforce her message of empowerment and relentless growth. Robin’s books, Strong Mama and Strong Baby, as well as her journal, Welcome, Hustler, highlight her belief in self-care and lifelong growth.

A proud Latina, Robin infuses her heritage into everything she does—from her bilingual Bebé Fuerte toy line to her influence in fashion and her signature swagger. As a groundbreaking figure for Latinas, women, and mothers, she brings unapologetic style and drive, inspiring others to break barriers. In 2024, Robin brought her presence to the track as a commentator for Athlos NYC, a pioneering women’s track event, embodying her commitment to representation and excellence.

Robin is also an advocate for Type 1 Diabetes. As someone that has been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, she continuously educates the public on the realities and promotes awareness about symptoms so others can recognize if they may be experiencing the same. She recently partnered with Barbie for the release of their first-ever doll with type 1 diabetes (T1D), in which the doll will be made to replicate Robin’s likeness.

Robin’s powerful influence has been widely recognized: she was named one of Fortune Magazine’s 40 Under 40, received Glamour’s first “Daring to Disrupt” Award, and was recently honored as one of TIME Magazine’s Latino Leaders. With her story of resilience and reinvention, Robin continues to inspire others to lean into their edges, shatter their own limits, and live fully in their purpose.
