Pres. Trump signed four executive orders related to nuclear energy on Friday.
One aims to speed up reactor testing at the Department of Energy’s national laboratories and another would clear the “regulatory path” of the Department of Energy and the Department of Defense to build nuclear reactors on federally-owned land, officials told reporters.
The president was joined by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and various industry leaders when signing the orders.
