St. Lucie County Sheriff Keith Pearson confirmed to ABC News’ West Palm Beach affiliate WPBF that there has been “loss of life” because of tornadoes spawned from Hurricane Milton. Pearson did not say how many people died, but said they have asked for search and rescue teams.
