Paris Jackson at VMAs: US Doesn’t Tolerate ‘Nazi White Supremacist Jerks’

Paris Jackson, the daughter of deceased pop icon Michael Jackson, on Sunday at MTV’s Video Music Awards used her platform to send a message to the “Nazi White Supremacist jerks” who rallied in Charlottesville, Virginia that the U.S. has “zero tolerance for their violence, their hatred and their discrimination.”

“If we all put our voices together, do you realize the difference we would make? If we were to all stand up, united, as one, our impact, it would be, huge,” said Jackson before announcing the nominees for the best pop video. “Believe me. Yuge. And that’s not fake news.”

Her fake news comment was a nod to President Donald Trump, who consistently calls out the news media for putting out “fake news” and for being mean, dishonest, bad and America-hating.
