Police Officers Finally Get The Respect They Deserve

Americans’ respect for police has reached its highest since the late 1960s, a new poll has shown. Three in four Americans, or 76 percent, said they have “a great deal” of respect for police in their areas. Although 2016 has also been shaken with tension between police and civilians  that violence seemed to have little influence on people’s overall opinion of officers.
