Former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner told TMZ Sunday she does not support President Donald Trump and thinks what he’s doing to “our community is absolutely ****ing awful.”
The 67-year-old transgender TV personality star made the comments when TMZ asked her why she wore a Make America Great Again hat Thursday en route to a golf club in Sherman Oaks, Calif.
“I apologize to all of the trans community,” she said about wearing the hat. “I made a mistake. I will never do it again and I’m getting rid of the hat.”
Jenner was blasted for wearing the hat, with one headline touting: “Why is Caitlyn Jenner Refusing to Quit Donald Trump?”
Jenner in late July blasted Trump for his ban on transgender men and women from serving in the military, tweeting to him, “What happened to your promise to fight for them?”
