We all remember those unforgettable scenes from the Back To The Future trilogy in which bad guy Biff Tannen somehow, throughout the decades, always ends up in a pile of manure.
While the idea of being covered in manure is a bit of far fetched slapstick in the movie, one farmer found true inspiration in those films as actress Emma Thompson was protesting hydraulic fracturing on his land.
Thompson, you see, was trespassing on one farmer’s property with a bevy of co-protesters and equipment, even after a local judge had issued an injunction against her protest. The farmer, it seems, had had enough.
