I don’t normally air my CPS dirty laundry, but I’m involved in a situation in Brigham City, Utah that boggles the mind. My ex adopted my five grandchildren back in 2011 after my daughter in law and son fell into drugs. Even though I wasn’t personally involved with the case, we divorced to appease the department. After the adoptions I was reblessed and actually became a point of contact for the children. My ex married a retired soldier who was a widower. The man was a saint. He also adopted his little “buddies” and bequeathed all of his military benefits to them, Medical, college and a nice check. He also bought them a six thousand square foot house in Brigham City because he though the area was excellent for raising children.
