In September of 2017, the FBI was made aware that Florida School Shooter Nikolas Cruz had already expressed the desire online to become a ‘professional school shooter’.
It was one of at least two threat reports about Nikolas Cruz that the FBI had already received. According to a law enforcement official, the FBI did not share the information with local law enforcement about either case.
Ben Bennight, a bail bondsman in Mississippi who goes by the name ‘Ben the Bondsman’, said that he noticed a sick comment on one of his videos.
“This comment said ‘I’m going to be a professional school shooter” and I knew that I couldn’t just ignore that,” he said.
