In Ocean City, they have one of the top 10 beaches in the United States, a fact that Mayor Rick Meehan is very proud of. There is something else that Mayor Mehan is proud of and that’s the lines on their streets. In between the two solid yellow lines is a blue line with no explanation of what it is for. But if you are driving down the street and see the blue line, would you know what to do?
Actually, you would do nothing. The city is very proud of the dedication to service of their uniformed officers and the blue line is for them. It’s the city’s way of thanking their officers for all they do and to show how much they are appreciated.
