This is just another example of the environment we live in. Was this student wrong…maybe but the fact remains that a simple case of bad judgment during spirit week caused a student to be thrust into the media. No matter what happens he is now labeled a racist and will most likely be haunted by this incident for years to come.
This should have been a conversation at his school and beyond that we should never had heard more about it. However the facts remain a student realized his school spirit went to far and quickly addressed it, but not before he was thrust into the limelight labeled a racist and then had this incident reviewed by local police.
