In the last 24 hours, President Donald Trump has been heavily criticized from allies and foe alike about his failure to publicly condemn alleged Russian election meddling during at the Helsinki summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Back in US the president Trump has said he accepts the US intelligence community’s conclusion that Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election, but said that Russia’s actions had no impact on the election outcome.
