The Tea Party Is Dead, As Is The Idea That It Ever Was Anything Other Than a Gop Proxy

Matt Kibbe, who served as President of FreedomWorks from 2004 and 2015 and was quite often the most visible face of the Tea Party movement during the Obama Administration, laments the demise of the movement he helped found , but he’s mistaken about what actually killed it: The grassroots movement that fought so hard for fiscal sanity in government over the past decade is no more. It was killed off by the very same Washington establishment it sought to overthrow.
