The problem is NOT the NRA! The problem is the gross misunderstanding of the human condition. When I worked with Pat Anderson years ago he gave me his three rules of life:
1. People are no damn good.
2. Money buys everything.
3. If you nail two things together that have never been nailed together before, you’ll get rich.
Write that down. There’ll be a test later. The NRA started out as an organization promoting gun safety. I know, I know, it was formed to protect former slaves from the KKK. “N Word Please!” Anyway, back in the ‘60s with the likes of Lee Harvey Oswald, James Earl Ray, and that sand negro who shot Robert Kennedy (You thought I was gonna show that foreigner some respect?) it became apparent that maybe, just MAYBE mail order guns might not be such a good idea.
