Speed Up Gorsuch Confirmation to the Supreme Court
The filibuster is a favorite tool for Democrats when they aren’t in the majority. The same party that hates it when the Republicans force a shutdown of nonessential government services as a way of calling attention to our growing national debt will basically perform the Senate version of a “denial of service” attack that bogs down Congress unless they get their way. Unless the Republicans stand up to them by shutting down the filibuster, Gorsuch will have to have the patience of a saint.
