Slovenian Skier Wins World Cup Giant Slalom

Zan Kranjec became the first ever Slovenian skier to win a men’s World Cup giant slalom during the event in Austria. Kranjec beat out seven time overall champion Marcel Hirscher. In hockey, Traktor defeated Torpedo 3-2 in overtime to keep their playoff hopes alive. 20 year-old Ilya Karpukhin scored his first ever KHL goal that also happened to be the game winner. RT America’s Steve Christakos reports.
