MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough criticized President Donald Trump in a tweet on Sunday for the president’s statement that NFL players who refuse to stand for the national anthem should be fired or suspended.
The president’s words attacking athletes are deplorable. The president’s words provoking NK are dangerous. He must stop.

However, Scarborough then explained an unfortunate reality for those opposing Trump.

Before the NFL game started on Sunday, Scarborough sent out another tweet on the subject.
