Orlando, Florida – Early Sunday morning, an American born man, Omar Mateen, 29, of Fort Pierce, Florida called 911 and pledged his allegiance to ISIS. He then entered The Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, a popular gay bar. Mateen carried a semi-automatic rifle and a pistol and started shooting immediately upon entry. The nightclub was packed with hundreds of people enjoying their evening.
5 people were killed and another 15 injured as Mateen’s reign of terror turned bloody. As most patrons screamed in fear and scurried for the safety of a bathroom or under a table, one man made all the difference.
