Earlier this week thousands took to the streets in Gaza to protest against hundreds of job cuts. The United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees, says it will cut 250 jobs in Gaza, the West Bank and will make over 500 other positions part-time. This comes as the US cuts over $300 million in funding to the agency. Amongst the protesters were senior figures from Hamas and other political factions. Many are concerned that they won’t be able to make ends meet. Joining me now to continue this conversation is Israeli human rights activist and author Miko Peled.
