There was nothing subtle or ambiguous about President Trump’s first speech to the U.N. General Assembly Tuesday as he showed the world that there was a new Sheriff in town and that the days of Barack Obama sticking his head in the sand were over.
Trump warned the US would “totally destroy North Korea” if forced to defend itself or its allies. He said while the US has “great strength and patience,” its options could soon run out. Trump warned that the diminutive tyrant Kim Jong Un could not survive an American attack, “Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself,” he said.
He also suggested that the Iran deal may be on its way out.
